Two prizes of $1,000 each and publication in Fugue, the literary magazine of the University of Idaho, are given biennially for a poem and a short story. The contest alternates annually between poetry and fiction and poetry and creative nonfiction. Submit three poems totaling no more than five pages or a story of up to 10,000 words with a $20 entry fee, which includes a one-year subscription to Fugue, by May 1.
